Prestigious investment firm with a substantial Wall Street presence is searching for an Employee Benefits Counsel to join its Global Private Client Group in central New Jersey at the Vice President level. A minimum of 5 years experience advising on employee benefits matters including defined contribution and defined benefit plans is required. This position will be responsible for defined contribution benefit plans and the administration of those plans. The primary responsibilities are ensuring that the firm's record keeping system remains in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and working with compliance professionals on client specific issues.

New York financial services firm seeks an Employee Benefits Counsel to join its White Plains, NY office. The primary responsibilities include: preparing plan documents for qualified and non-qualified plans, providing legislative and pension updates, drafting administrative forms for plan sponsors, providing technical support to employees and clients and participating in special projects as required. The right person will have between 5-10 years of experience with Defined Benefit and/or Defined Contribution plans. The successful candidate must be proficient with the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA. Management experience is a plus.

The attorney will act as as counsel to the domestic line of business. Lend advice and counsel on transactions, regulatory issues, and business risk. Substantial interaction with litigation counsel and private client counsel. Should have in-depth knowledge of US securities laws and US banking  law and regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills.
